Ethical Decision-Making

Integrating ethical principles in decision-making for individuals, populations, and healthcare systems.

I consistently integrated ethical principles into clinical decision-making at individual, population, and healthcare systems levels. Through coursework and clinical training, I applied ethical frameworks to issues like patient autonomy, informed consent, cultural sensitivity, and resource allocation, ensuring equitable and patient-centered care.

During 650+ clinical hours across adult, geriatric, pediatric, and women’s health, along with a medical mission trip to Ecuador, I navigated ethical challenges in diverse settings. I advocated for equitable access, addressed social determinants of health, and adapted care strategies in resource-limited environments.

My commitment to ethical leadership extended to analyzing systemic factors in healthcare delivery, engaging in quality improvement initiatives, and advocating for policies promoting transparency and social responsibility. By integrating ethics into every aspect of care, I upheld the highest standards of professionalism and patient advocacy.
